Norwegian Mapping Authority Map Series \u2013 Nautical Charts and N50 Topographical Maps<\/h1><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Norwegian Mapping Authority is Norway’s national mapping authority and publishes both official nautical charts and topographical maps for the entire country. <\/strong>The maps are used for navigation at sea, planning hikes in the mountains, and as precise overview maps of Norwegian nature and coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this page, you will find an overview of the map series from the Norwegian Mapping Authority. Here you can proceed to nautical charts for navigation along the Norwegian coast and in Arctic waters, or to the N50 series \u2013 Norway’s official topographical maps at a scale of 1:50,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Charts<\/div>\n
\n The Main Chart series covers the Norwegian coast from the Swedish border to Grense-Jakobselv, as well as parts of Svalbard. These charts are primarily used for navigation in inner coastal areas and waters where a high level of detail is important. \n <\/div>\n \u2192<\/span>\n <\/a>\n\n \n \n
Coastal Charts<\/div>\n
\n The Coastal Chart series consists of overview charts for larger parts of the Norwegian coast. These charts are well-suited for coastal navigation and planning longer legs of a journey. \n <\/div>\n \u2192<\/span>\n <\/a>\n\n \n \n
Harbour Charts<\/div>\n

Passage Charts<\/div>\n
