Personal data we process<\/h2>\n\n<p>Depending on how you use our website and services, we may process the following personal data:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>name, delivery address and billing address<\/li>\n  <li>telephone number and email address<\/li>\n  <li>order information, purchase history, returns and complaints<\/li>\n  <li>customer account, username and encrypted password<\/li>\n  <li>selected payment method, payment status and transaction references<\/li>\n  <li>correspondence with customer service, including emails and chat messages<\/li>\n  <li>information required for shipping, delivery and customs clearance<\/li>\n  <li>consents and preferences relating to newsletters and cookies<\/li>\n  <li>technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, time of access, pages visited and activity on the website<\/li>\n  <li>information about how you found the website and how you use the online store<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Please do not send us sensitive personal data unless this is necessary and has been specifically agreed with us.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. Payment<\/h2>\n\n<p>Payments in the online store are processed through Nets Easy. Payment methods such as Vipps, Klarna and payment cards may be offered through this payment solution.<\/p>\n\n<p>Payment providers receive the information necessary to process the payment, verify the payer\u2019s identity, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. The information processed depends on the payment method you select.<\/p>\n\n<p>Kart.no does not normally receive complete payment card details. We receive the payment status, transaction reference and limited information necessary to connect the payment to the correct order.<\/p>\n\n<p>Nets, Vipps and Klarna may act as independent data controllers for parts of the processing they perform. Their own privacy policies apply to such processing.<\/p>\n\n<h2>5. Shipping, delivery and customs clearance<\/h2>\n\n<p>To dispatch and deliver your order, we share necessary information with the relevant carriers and delivery partners, including DHL, Bring and PostNord. Shipments and delivery information may be administered through Webshipper.<\/p>\n\n<p>The information may include:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>name and delivery address<\/li>\n  <li>telephone number and email address<\/li>\n  <li>order number and shipment number<\/li>\n  <li>information about the goods required for transport and customs clearance<\/li>\n  <li>the value of the goods, country of origin and customs commodity code for international deliveries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The carriers may also use your contact details to send tracking information, delivery notifications and requests relating to customs clearance.<\/p>\n\n<p>The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, and any legal obligations relating to export, import and customs clearance, pursuant to Article 6(1)(c).<\/p>\n\n<h2>6. Customer accounts<\/h2>\n\n<p>If you create a customer account, we process your contact details, address details, order history and login information to administer the account and make future purchases easier.<\/p>\n\n<p>Passwords are stored in encrypted or otherwise technically secured form and are not available to our employees in plain text.<\/p>\n\n<p>The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. You may ask us to delete your customer account. Information that we are required to retain for legal or documentation purposes will not necessarily be deleted at the same time as the account.<\/p>\n\n<h2>7. Customer service and communication<\/h2>\n\n<p>When you contact us by email, telephone, contact form or LiveChat, we process your contact details and the content of your enquiry.<\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose is to answer questions, provide quotations, follow up orders and handle returns, complaints or other customer enquiries.<\/p>\n\n<p>The legal basis may be the performance of an agreement or taking steps before entering into an agreement, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Product information does not normally contain personal data relating to customers.<\/p>\n\n<p>The legal basis for cookies, tracking and conversion measurement is your consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may change or withdraw your consent through Cookie Information.<\/p>\n\n<h2>12. Recipients of personal data<\/h2>\n\n<p>We do not sell personal data.<\/p>\n\n<p>We may share necessary information with service providers that help us operate our business and provide our services, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>online-store, hosting, security and technical service providers, including WooCommerce and WP Engine<\/li>\n  <li>payment providers, including Nets Easy and payment methods such as Vipps and Klarna<\/li>\n  <li>shipping and logistics services, including Webshipper, DHL, Bring and PostNord<\/li>\n  <li>newsletter providers, including Intuit Mailchimp<\/li>\n  <li>customer service and chat providers, including LiveChat<\/li>\n  <li>analytics and advertising services, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center and Kelkoo Shopping<\/li>\n  <li>accountants, auditors, IT providers and other professional advisers<\/li>\n  <li>public authorities where we are legally required to disclose information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Providers that process personal data on our behalf may only process the information in accordance with our instructions and the applicable data processing agreement. Some providers may act as independent data controllers for parts of the processing they perform.<\/p>\n\n<h2>13.
