Cruising Guide to the Netherlands and Belgium<\/em> is a comprehensive pilot book covering both coastal sailing and inland waters in the Netherlands and Belgium. The area offers one of Europe’s densest networks of canals, rivers and sheltered waters, combined with challenging tidal conditions along the North Sea coast. <\/p>\n

The book provides detailed information on ports, marinas, locks, bridges, tides, currents and navigation in both open and inland waters. It is particularly useful for sailors who want to combine coastal sailing with canal sailing through the Netherlands and on into Belgium and northern France. <\/p>\n

Like other publications from the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation, the guide is based on the experiences of active sailors, and is richly illustrated with charts, port plans and practical advice.
