“Mountain Hiking in Padjelanta and Sulitelma<\/strong> ” is a comprehensive guidebook to some of the most spectacular and least-visited mountain areas in Swedish Lapland. The book is written in Swedish<\/strong> and is suitable for both experienced hikers and those who want to experience the magnificent nature along the border between Sweden and Norway. <\/p>\n

Padjelanta National Park is known for its open high-mountain expanses, enormous lakes, and rich flora, which make the area one of Sweden\u2019s most beautiful mountain landscapes. Here, you can hike for days through an open landscape with views of the alpine peaks to the west, while the midnight sun or the long summer evenings add to the experience. <\/p>\n

The area also has a rich cultural history. As early as 1888<\/strong>, the Swedish Tourist Association established its first mountain cabin here, along the historic trail between Kvikkjokk<\/strong> and Sulitelma<\/strong>.
