It also provides space to record any defects found and when they were rectified.<\/p>\n<p>Weekly inspections cover lifeboats, rescue boats, liferafts, MOR, fire control panels, ship&#8217;s whistle, PA system and general alarm, BA and EEBD cylinders, low location lighting and fixed water systems.<\/p>\n<p>Monthly inspections cover emergency lighting; lifeboats and equipment; rescue boats and equipment; liferafts; MOR; lifejackets; immersion and anti-exposure suits; EPIRBs, SARTs and hand-held GMDSS radios; pyrotechnics and line-throwing apparatus; lifebuoys and attachments; MOB recovery equipment; fire mains, pumps, hydrants, hoses and nozzles; fixed extinguishing systems; firefighters&#8217; outfits and BA; BA charging compressors; portable foam units; and fire extinguishers.<\/p>\n<h3>Adaptable to individual vessels<\/h3>\n<p>The checklist is suitable for different types of vessel and can be customised to reflect the equipment carried on a particular vessel, for example by inserting duplicate or additional pages where required.
