Down is an exceptionally efficient insulating material: lightweight, highly compressible and capable of providing excellent warmth for very little weight. Its weakness is moisture. As humidity increases, conventional down can lose some of its insulating performance, while conditions inside a sleeping bag can change considerably throughout the night.<\/p>\n
