Kart.no is owned by Fineartprint AS, organization number 920 298 230. Fineartprint AS is the data controller for the company’s processing of personal data. This applies to the collection, storage, and use of personal information.
We comply with current legislation for the processing of personal data, including the Personal Data Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The basis for processing personal data is the fulfillment of a contract or agreement, consent for newsletters, or statutory obligations (e.g., accounting and consumer purchase laws).

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AT FINEARTPRINT.NO
When do we collect information from you?
We require personal data from you in order for you to use our services on kart.no. Providing personal data is voluntary, but it is a prerequisite for us to process your order. We collect name, address, telephone number, and email address. Other personal data that we process is mentioned under each specific point.
What do we use the information for?
Personal data is used to offer services such as verifying and processing purchases and orders, shipping goods, returns and repairs, customer service, marketing with consent, registration of user accounts, and competitions.
How do we store the information and for how long?
We store personal data for as long as is necessary in relation to the purpose. The purpose may be the agreement between you as a customer and us as a company when you use the services we offer, legislation that we are obliged to follow, or active consent.
Personal data is deleted when the agreement is fulfilled, but we are obliged to store personal data in accordance with various laws. Storage routines for personal information are explained under each specific point. Fineartprint AS collects information from you when you visit our websites. This is information that is anonymized and cannot be traced back to your identity. Data collected anonymously includes how many people visit our website, what they click on, and how long a visit lasts.
Anonymized information is used to gather statistics that can provide information on how we can facilitate and improve the online store.
Is information sold to a third party?
Fineartprint AS neither gives nor sells customer information to any third party. However, partners will be given access to the information necessary for the services we offer to be performed.
ORDERING
Completion of an order requires the following information:
Name, address, telephone number, and email address
We need this information to send you the order and to contact you if necessary regarding that specific order. We store your personal data for 10 years in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.
Login, passwords, address data, information about payment methods, credit card data, or account data are sent exclusively via encrypted connections (HTTPS / SSL). The servers are located in the EU/EEA and are regulated by data processor agreements.
IMAGE FILES
All image files sent to us are stored on our local storage device. The purpose is to evaluate, process, and produce prints for the customer, and as a reference for future orders for the customer. Image files shall not be used for other purposes without a specific agreement with the customer. You can request Fineartprint AS to delete uploaded files at any time.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OF GOODS
To ship and deliver ordered goods, we need the following information:
Name, address, telephone number, and email address
We transfer personal data to the shipping provider so that you can receive the goods according to the desired shipping method. Shipping providers use email and telephone numbers to send you notifications regarding the status of a delivery.
Personal data is processed and stored until it is no longer necessary according to the agreement.
PAYMENT
To complete an order, you must choose a payment method. Fineartprint AS uses external providers of payment services. All payment providers are themselves data controllers for the information they process.
For security reasons, we store your IP address upon completed payment. Access to IP addresses and personal data regarding payments is strictly regulated.
MARKETING AND NEWSLETTERS
You must voluntarily and actively give your consent for us to send you newsletters. The newsletter may contain offers, information, advertisements, and promotions. You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing directly from the newsletter.
When you actively choose to receive newsletters from Fineartprint AS, your personal data and consents are stored and processed in an internal and an external customer database. The Rocket Science Group is our data processor used for sending out newsletters. The level of access and how information is processed is regulated in a separate data processor agreement between Fineartprint AS and the provider.
We process and store the following personal data:
Name, address, email, telephone number, and purchase history
We create profiling of our newsletter subscribers to customize the newsletters you receive so that the content better fits what we consider to be your target group. This may, for example, mean customized use of images, colors, placement, and content.
We store the profile in accordance with the consent for the newsletter. The profile is deleted when you are no longer registered as a subscriber to our newsletters because you have withdrawn your consent.
If you do not want us to create a profile on you, you can send a written request to post@fineartprint.no, or actively unsubscribe from the newsletter. You will find a link to unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletter.
COOKIES
Cookies are small files with digital information that are transferred to your computer via your browser. They are necessary for websites and browsers to communicate. Most cookies we use are of a type that is deleted as soon as you close the browser, while others can be stored for up to a year.
It is entirely possible to turn off the use of cookies so that they are not downloaded when you visit websites, but you will then also be prevented from performing certain actions, such as completing a purchase.

Fineartprint AS collects information from everyone who visits our websites. This refers to information that is completely anonymized and cannot be traced back to individuals.
Fineartprint AS uses web analysis technologies to collect information, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. We use the statistics to analyze visitor behavior and for the improvement and development of our services.
You can choose to object to the collection and storage of analysis data by deleting and turning off cookies in your browser.

Fineartprint AS stores and processes your personal data in a safe and secure manner. We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your information so that it is not lost, manipulated, or accessed by unauthorized persons. We continuously adapt security measures to technological developments.

You have the right to have all your personal data deleted, unless it is information that we are obliged to store by law (e.g., accounting). You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given us at any time.

You have the right to have your personal data moved or sent to you.
4. Performed upon request
Access to or deletion of your own personal data, withdrawal of consent, and transfer of personal data are performed at your request and completely free of charge. You can request this by sending a written inquiry to kundeservice@fineartprint.no.
5. Complaint
If you feel that your personal data is not being handled in accordance with current legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
