Usage and Regulations
This logbook is used for recording ballast water in accordance with the Ballast Water Management Convention (BWM 2004), as implemented in Norwegian regulations by the Norwegian Maritime Authority.
The logbook must be maintained by vessels subject to ballast water regulations and documents the uptake, treatment, and discharge of ballast water. Entries must be continuous, accurate, and available for inspection.
The logbook is an official ship document and must be kept on board in accordance with applicable requirements.
The logbook is delivered in the latest available edition from the publisher, in line with current requirements at the time of publication.
