Description
Calazo DNT Planning Map Southern Norway is a 1:500,000 scale overview map developed for planning hikes in forests and mountains in Southern Norway. The map provides an overview of major mountain areas, route networks and connections between hiking destinations in the region.
The map shows all DNT cabins in the area, as well as other accommodation and a wide range of marked trails. The clear presentation makes it easy to plan stages, assess distances and see how different mountain areas are connected.
The map is at a scale of 1:500,000, which provides a broad regional overview. At this scale, 1 cm on the map corresponds to 5 km in the terrain, which makes the map well suited to overall route planning.
The map is intended for planning purposes. For off-road navigation, a more detailed hiking map is recommended.
