Usage and Regulations
This book is used for recording engine-related events and observations as part of the vessel’s logkeeping.
Engine logbooks are maintained in accordance with the regulations on ship logbooks established by the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and may be included as documentation during inspections and technical investigations.
Responsibility for correct entry lies with the chief engineer or other authorized personnel.
