Usage and regulations
This logbook is intended for formal record-keeping on board ships.
Logbook maintenance is regulated by the regulations on ship logbooks established by the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and may be a mandatory document depending on the vessel’s type and size.
The logbook must be maintained continuously and kept as part of the ship’s documentation.
