“When the weather and road conditions were favorable, the postal service was relatively good,” writes the Norwegian Postal Museum about the postal service in the 1700s. Normally, a letter from Oslo to Trondheim took 6 days, in other words, much like today. This map shows the postal routes in 1759. The map is delivered in its original size of 40.9 x 67.2 cm.
