    Description

Turkart Børgefjell covers the entire Børgefjell National Park as well as surrounding gateways that provide access to both short and longer hikes. The area is characterized by vast mountain ranges, many lakes and a clear wilderness character, and the map provides a comprehensive and clear presentation of the terrain.

Trails in the area have been reviewed and corrected using detailed aerial photographs and terrain data, and the map shows both established routes and lesser-used trails. It includes cabins, arches and central fishing lakes, and provides a good basis for planning trips in an area with large distances and few technical interventions. The map also shows marked summer and winter routes, as well as relevant trails where applicable.

The map is at a scale of 1:50,000, which is the most common scale for longer mountain hikes. At this scale, 2 cm on the map corresponds to 1 km in the terrain. The terrain information is based on detailed elevation data and provides a precise and clear representation of the landscape.
