Description
Denmark Chart 112 – Kattegat, Århus Bugt (INT 1380) is an official Danish nautical chart published by Geodatastyrelsen at a scale of 1:75 000.
The map covers Aarhus Bay and adjacent waters in the Kattegat, including routes, lighthouses, beacons, depths and other navigational installations necessary for safe navigation in the area. Århus Bugt is an important waterway for both commercial traffic and leisure boats, and requires a good overview of both main routes and local conditions.
This is a port of call and passage chart, developed for navigation in coastal main waters and larger bays. The scale of 1:75,000 provides a good balance between overview and detail, and is suitable for both sail planning and practical navigation in the area.
The chart is also published as INT 1380 and is part of the International Chart Series coordinated by IHO (International Hydrographic Organization). The INT number means that the chart follows international standards and is harmonized for use in international shipping.
