    Description

ADR/RID 2025 – Norwegian regulations for the transport of dangerous goods brings together the international rules governing dangerous goods transport by road and rail in one Norwegian-language volume. The edition is updated as of 1 January 2025 and also contains the Norwegian regulations on the inland transport of dangerous goods.

ADR applies to road transport, while RID applies to rail transport. The two sets of regulations are closely integrated and share extensive requirements covering the classification of dangerous goods, packaging, tanks, marking, hazard labels, documentation, transport operations, training and safety responsibilities.

The Norwegian edition is published by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB). The Norwegian text is an unofficial translation based on the English source text and is intended as a practical aid to understanding and applying ADR and RID. The formal international regulations are published by UNECE for ADR and OTIF for RID.

The 2025 publication is the 11th edition and contains 1,680 pages. It is a Norwegian Bokmål paperback measuring approximately 24.4 × 17.3 cm and weighing about 1.77 kg. ADR/RID is normally revised every two years, and this edition replaces ADR/RID 2023.

The optional index tabs make this extensive reference book considerably quicker to navigate. The set contains 99 self-adhesive tabs. Users may insert the complete set or select only the sections most relevant to their work. The tabs are designed specifically for the 2025 edition and provide quick access to key parts, chapters and provisions.

Choose the preferred configuration: The book is available without tabs, with a loose set of 99 tabs for the user to insert as required, or complete with all 99 tabs fitted by Kart.no before dispatch. Please allow some additional handling time for the fully fitted version.

This publication is relevant to carriers, drivers, dangerous goods safety advisers, freight forwarders, terminals, rail operators, industrial companies, waste-management businesses, training providers and public authorities working with the classification, packing, marking, documentation or transport of dangerous goods.
