Description
Bahamas Oil Record Book Part I – Machinery Space Operations is a logbook issued by the Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) for ships registered in the Bahamas.
The book is used to document oil-related operations in the machinery space, including the handling of bilge water and oil residue, as well as bunkering. It falls under MARPOL Annex I and provides the crew with a complete record of relevant operations.
Part I applies to ships subject to the requirements for recording machinery space operations. For oil tankers, a separate Part II is also available for cargo and ballast operations.
