Use and regulations
This logbook is intended for formal record-keeping on board ships.
Keeping of logbooks is regulated through regulations on logbooks on ships established by the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and may be a legally required document depending on the vessel’s type and size.
The logbook shall be kept continuously and stored as part of the ship’s documentation.
The logbook is delivered in the latest available edition from the publisher, in accordance with current requirements at the time of publication.
