Use and Regulations
This book is used for recording engine-related incidents and observations as part of the vessel’s logbook entries.
The Engine Log Book is kept in accordance with the regulations on ship logbooks stipulated by the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and may serve as documentation during inspections and technical surveys.
Responsibility for correct entries lies with the Chief Engineer or other authorized personnel.
The logbook is delivered in the latest available edition from the publisher, in accordance with the requirements applicable at the time of publication.
