Description
Bilatlas Europa 2023 is a comprehensive and detailed car and tourist atlas developed especially for those who are going on a road trip through Europe. The atlas is published in 2023 and consists of 346 pages with a sturdy spiral binding that makes it easy to use during your journey.
The atlas is based on Michelin’s renowned cartography and provides very precise and clear information for drivers. Intersections along the highways are numbered in accordance with the signage in the different countries. European, national and regional roads are clearly numbered and road distances are marked with color-coded numbers – providing a better overview than in most other car atlases. Toll stations, steep hills and ferry routes are marked, and particularly attractive stretches of road are highlighted with their own color.
The Nordic region is covered by 23 map pages at a scale of 1:1,500,000. Western Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Southern Europe are covered by 155 map pages at a scale of 1:1,000,000. The Baltic Sea countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are presented in particular detail on 31 pages at a scale of 1:500,000. In addition, the atlas contains 78 city center maps of major cities.
The atlas has a Norwegian legend and table of contents. It contains a comprehensive distance table for 72 cities and a climate table for 78 cities. A separate traffic table provides an overview of speed limits, blood alcohol limits, rules for studded tires, use of lights and other traffic rules in all European countries. A large and detailed index makes it easy to find your way around.
Cappelen Damm no longer publishes its own maps and atlases. This product is sold from existing stock, and will be available while stocks last. When the stock is empty, the atlas will not be reprinted.
