Description
This map of Hardangervidda nordvest Topo 3000 Turkart is produced by Nordic Maps (formerly Nordeca) for practical use in travel and planning.
Both series contain map data from Kartverket and are printed on durable and water-resistant plastic fiber. The map is printed at a scale of 1:50 000 and features mapping on both sides of the map sheet.
The Topo series is a reliable and proven map that has been a favorite among hikers in the mountains for decades. The map is based on data from Kartverket and covers popular hiking areas with highlighted trail information. The map section is adapted to relevant hiking areas and is less systematically divided than the Norge series, which many find more practical for use.
DNT’s marked summer routes and cabins are clearly visible on the map. The map is printed with mapping on both sides of the map sheet, unlike the Turkart series where trail information is collected on the back.
The map was published in 2022. Although some details may have changed since its release, the map still provides an excellent and reliable basis for trip planning and navigation.
