Description
This high-mountain map covers the area around Galdhøpiggen and Glittertinden in Jotunheimen, Norway’s highest mountain areas. The map provides a detailed presentation of mountain terrain, glacier areas, watercourses and trails, and provides a solid basis for planning and carrying out trips in the high mountains.
The map is particularly suitable for climbing Galdhøpiggen (2469 m) and Glittertinden (2452 m), as well as for summit hikes and route choices outside marked trails. The detailed terrain presentation provides good support when moving in varied and demanding mountain terrain.
The map is at a scale of 1:25,000, which provides a very high level of detail. At this scale, 4 cm on the map corresponds to 1 km in the terrain, which makes the map particularly suitable for precise navigation in the high mountains.
The map is printed on durable and water-repellent material and comes with map print on both sides (70 × 100 cm).
