Pia Myrvold’s “Haaland Tribute” is a graphic work created in honour of the Norwegian footballer Erling Braut Haaland.
The work reflects the pride associated with Haaland’s ties to Norway, Rogaland and Bryne, and pays tribute to the international sports star in connection with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In the graphic work, Haaland is depicted as a stylised silhouette in his characteristic pose, with his eyes on the ball. At the same time, he balances on a larger sphere, referring to the Earth and his worldwide career.
Within the interplay of shadows, a dynamic power wheel emerges, describing his energy and strength. The composition draws on the nation’s colours and expresses our pride and hopes for the 2026 World Cup.
“Haaland Tribute” is produced as a pigment print on Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag 310 gsm and published in a limited, numbered edition of 100. Each impression is signed and numbered by the artist.

About the artist
Pia Myrvold (born 1960) is one of Norway’s most celebrated contemporary artists, with a career spanning more than four decades. From her early group exhibitions in Oslo in the 1980s, her work has since been presented in major exhibitions and museums across Europe, North America and Asia.
Based in Paris since the 1990s, Myrvold is known for combining traditional painting with digital media, interactive technology and immersive installations.
