Description
Turkart Langsua National Park and Spåtind covers the entire Langsua National Park and the areas around Spåtind. The map has map sections on both the front and back and provides a comprehensive overview of a varied mountain area with open plains, forest terrain and marked peaks.
Trails in the area have been reviewed and corrected using detailed aerial photographs and terrain data. The map shows both established and lesser-used routes, as well as cabins run by DNT and other operators. Marked summer and winter routes are clearly marked, and groomed ski trails are shown where relevant. The terrain information provides a precise representation of contours, water and landscapes, making the map suitable for both short day trips and longer hikes in the national park.
The map covers hiking destinations such as Spåtind (1414 m), Ormtjernkampen (1128 m) and Heimdalshøi (1843 m).
The map is at a scale of 1:50,000, which is the most common scale for longer mountain hikes. At this scale, 2 cm on the map corresponds to 1 km in the terrain.
