    Description

The Wempe Navigator II – Barometer, Thermometer and Hygrometer 130 mm is an exclusive combination instrument that provides accurate measurements of air pressure, temperature and relative humidity in one elegant nautical instrument. The instrument is manufactured with German quality and has a timeless, tech-inspired design that is equally at home on deck, in the salon or at home.

The instrument is built in a sturdy housing of anodized aluminum with a matte black finish, with mineral glass and a clear black dial with white markings for optimal readability. The Navigator II series also features LumiNova markers that make the instrument easy to read even in low light.

The barometer uses a double aneroid mechanism and provides a detailed picture of atmospheric pressure with good stability and precision. The thermometer uses a bi-metal sensor with very good accuracy, and the hygrometer has a synthetic fiber sensor that gives a clear indication of relative humidity.

With a diameter of 130 mm, this instrument is compact but distinct in expression and gives a refined impression wherever it is placed. It’s a natural choice for those who want reliable function, quality and maritime elegance in one instrument.

    Technical information

The instrument has a total diameter of 130 mm with a dial of approximately 100 mm. The housing is made of solid anodized aluminum with a matte black finish, and the front is protected with mineral glass. The instrument combines a dual aneroid barometer mechanism with bi-metal thermometer and synthetic fiber hygrometer. The barometer measures atmospheric pressure in a range of approximately 950-1050 hPa with a typical accuracy of ± 2 hPa between 980-1030 hPa, the thermometer has an accuracy of ± 1 °C between 0-40 °C and the hygrometer has an accuracy of ± 2 % between 40-90 %. Typical temperature dependent error for the barometer is ± 2.5 hPa at rapid temperature changes of ± 10 °C.
