Bahamas Biofouling Record Book Part II is a logbook issued by the Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) for Bahamas-registered ships.
The Biofouling Record Book Part II is used to document periods and conditions that may increase the risk of fouling, as well as relevant measures taken. Examples include deviations from the vessel’s expected operating profile or reduced effectiveness of anti-fouling coatings.
Part II complements Part I, in which inspections, maintenance, and cleaning are documented. The books form part of the follow-up of the vessel’s Biofouling Management Plan.
