Description
Calazo DNT Planning Map Northern Norway is a 1:500,000 scale overview map designed for planning hikes in forests and mountains in Northern Norway. The map provides an overview of the region and makes it easy to plan longer hikes and continuous routes between mountains, coast and plains.
The map shows all DNT cabins in the region, as well as other accommodation and a wide range of marked trails. The clear presentation makes it easy to see distances, connections between grids and larger mountain areas.
The map is at a scale of 1:500,000, which provides a broad regional overview. At this scale, 1 cm on the map corresponds to 5 km in the terrain, which makes the map well suited to overall route planning and assessment of stages.
The map is intended for planning purposes. For off-road navigation, a more detailed hiking map is recommended.
