Engine-room log book from Giertsen Forlag, English-language edition of the Norwegian engine-room log book. Used for daily logging of operations, maintenance, incidents and deviations in the engine room and technical installations. Approved for use on board vessels where logging in English is required or preferred.
Use and regulations
This book is used to record engine-related incidents and observations as part of the vessel’s diary.
Machine diaries are kept in accordance with the regulations on diaries on ships laid down by the Norwegian Maritime Authority, and can be used as documentation for inspections and technical surveys.
Responsibility for correct entry lies with the machine manager or other authorized personnel.
The logbook is delivered in the latest available edition from the publisher, in line with current requirements at the time of publication.
