Description
Turkart Pro Hardangervidda West is a detailed and up-to-date hiking map for hikes and outdoor activities in the western part of Hardangervidda. The map is published by Nordic Maps and covers , among other places , Kinsarvik, Odda, Tyssedal, Ullensvang, Måbødalen, and Hardangervidda National Park, as well as popular hiking destinations such as Trolltunga, Ringedalsvatnet, Hårteigen, Munketreppene, Tyssebotn, Nosi, and Einseten.
The map is published at a scale of 1:50, 000, which provides a high level of detail and makes it well-suited for both trip planning and navigation in challenging mountain terrain. Marked hiking trails, DNT routes, and a wide selection of staffed, self-service, and unstaffed cabins are shown on the map, and many of the routes include estimated walking times.
Hardangervidda is Northern Europe’s largest high-mountain plateau and offers a varied landscape with vast mountain areas, steep mountain slopes, waterfalls, and spectacular viewpoints. The map covers the main access points to the western part of the national park and is suitable for both day hikes and longer cabin-to-cabin hikes.
The map is printed on Tyvek, a highly durable and water-resistant material that can withstand active use and changing weather conditions. The map is printed on both sides, providing extensive geographic coverage in a convenient, foldable format measuring 70 × 100 cm.
The Turkart Pro Hardangervidda West map also includes useful DNT information and is well-suited for both hiking and other outdoor activities in the mountains. The map is in Norwegian and English and was updated in 2026.
