2011 ESP Code, 2020 Edition is the official IMO publication containing the International Code on the Enhanced Programme of Inspections during Surveys of Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers. The publication has been developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to ensure thorough and standardized inspections of some of the most critical vessel types in international shipping.
The purpose of the ESP Code is to contribute to the early identification of structural weaknesses, wear and tear, corrosion and other conditions that may affect the vessel’s safety.
