IMO Model Course 1.36 – LNG Tanker Cargo & Ballast Handling Simulator, 2019 Edition is the official IMO publication for simulator-based training in LNG tanker cargo and ballast handling operations. The publication has been developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to support international requirements for competence and training in the handling of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at sea.
The manual has been developed to ensure that officers and other key personnel gain the necessary practical understanding of LNG operations through realistic simulator training.
