Q Addendum: International Medical Guide for Ships, 2022 Edition is an official addendum to the International Medical Guide for Ships and provides up-to-date guidance on medical equipment and drugs used in the treatment of illness and injury at sea. The publication has been developed in collaboration between the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
When vessels operate far from land-based healthcare facilities, access to the right medical equipment and necessary medicines is crucial. Q Addendum helps vessels and shipping companies plan and maintain medical supplies on board in line with international recommendations.
